Infinity Field, Lefkada Series

"Infinity Field, Lefkada Series" by Theodoros Stamos exemplifies his evolution within abstract art and color field painting. The painting features expansive, luminous layers of color that evoke a sense of infinite space, characteristic of Stamos's exploration of the vastness of emotional and spiritual experience. As one of the youngest members of the original abstract expressionist group, his work reflects a mastery of color and form that seeks to transcend the physical and reach the sublime. However, his later years were marred by personal struggles, including involvement in the Rothko case, which impacted his legacy.
