Infinity Field, Lefkada Series

"Infinity Field, Lefkada Series" by Theodoros Stamos exemplifies his exploration of abstract art through the lens of color field painting. The work features expansive, luminous color planes that evoke a sense of infinite space, blending vibrant hues to create a meditative atmosphere. As a pioneering figure among the abstract expressionists, Stamos's piece reflects his efforts to transcend representational forms and evoke emotional depth. His involvement with the Rothko case later overshadowed his career, but this series remains a vivid testament to his mastery of color and form.
