"Flowers" is a series of Pop art flower paintings by American artist Andy Warhol, featuring vibrant silkscreen reproductions of hibiscus blossoms. Based on a photograph by Patricia Caulfield, the series made its first appearance in 1964 at the Leo Castelli Gallery in New York. Warhol revisited the theme with a second series for his 1965 exhibition at the Ileana Sonnabend Gallery in Paris. The complete Flowers portfolio was produced in 1970, exemplifying Warhol’s mastery of blending mass media imagery with traditional flower painting techniques.
