"Flowers" is a series of Pop art flower paintings by American artist Andy Warhol. Based on a photograph of hibiscus blossoms by Patricia Caulfield, these silkscreen works emphasize bold color and repetition, quintessential to Warhol’s style. Debuted in 1964 at the Leo Castelli Gallery in New York, the series showcases his fascination with mass production and commercial imagery. A second series appeared in 1965 for his Paris exhibition, and he later produced the complete "Flowers" portfolio in 1970. The paintings exemplify Warhol’s innovative approach, blending fine art with popular culture.
