Portrait of a Man is an oil-on-canvas portrait created around 1545 by Italian High renaissance artist Lorenzo Lotto. The painting exhibits stylistic features similar to Lotto's other works from the mid-1540s, such as Portrait of an Old Man with Gloves. Some scholars suggest the subject might be Giovanni Taurini da Montepulciano, viceroy of Ancona, which would date the piece to 1551, coinciding with Lotto's arrival in Ancona. Currently housed in the Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan, it became part of the collection through the Oggioni Bequest in 1855.
