The 'Triumph of Federico da Montefeltro' is part of the diptych of Federico da Montefeltro and Battista Sforza, two renowned oil portraits dating back to 1473-1475, by the Early Renaissance Italian artist Piero della Francesca. Though often incorrectly referred to as 'The Duke and Duchess of Urbino' - including on the official Uffizi Gallery website, the title is a misnomer as Battista Sforza passed away in 1472, before Federico da Montefeltro was elevated to the rank of Duke in 1474. Therefore, Battista was never officially a Duchess.
