Stock-still Dream

"Stock-still Dream" is a captivating painting that exemplifies Abstract expressionism through its bold, spontaneous brushstrokes and evocative imagery. Created on a canvas with rich oil paints, the artwork invites viewers into a contemplative state, reminiscent of Marina’s introspective themes. Its stillness and dreamlike quality evoke a sense of suspended motion, blurring the lines between reality and imagination. The title hints at the haunting contemplation of mortality, subtly referencing the sensitive subject of suicide, while the abstract style emphasizes emotional depth and ambiguous narratives.
