Starry Night and the Astronauts

"Starry Night and the Astronauts" by Alma Woodsey Thomas is a vibrant, abstract painting that captures her exuberant use of color and dynamic composition. Known for her Color field painting style, Thomas’s work often features bold, energetic strokes and lively patterns inspired by natural and cosmic themes. This piece uniquely combines her signature abstract approach with a cosmological subject, depicting astronauts beneath a starry sky.
