Infinity Field, Lefkada Series

"Infinity Field, Lefkada Series" by Theodoros Stamos exemplifies his progression into Abstract and Color field painting. The painting features expansive, luminous hues that evoke a sense of boundless infinity, characteristic of Stamos's exploration of space and emotion through simple yet powerful color relationships. As a prominent figure among the Abstract expressionist movement alongside artists like Rothko and Pollock, Stamos's work combines spontaneity with a meditative quality. His later years, however, faced difficulties linked to his involvement with the Rothko case, impacting his artistic legacy.
