Jesus among the Doctors

"Jesus among the Doctors" is a compelling Oil on Canvas by Paolo Veronese, housed in the Museo del Prado in Madrid. This Religious painting depicts young Jesus engaging with learned scholars in the temple, showcasing Veronese's mastery of intricate detail and vibrant color within the Mannerism (late renaissance) style. The painting's date remains debated; a 1548 inscription on a book held by a figure suggests that year, but scholar Diana Gisolfi Pechukas proposed 1565 as the earliest plausible date.
