Kasseler Serie

The Kasseler Serie is a striking example of Color field painting within the Abstract art movement. Featuring vast expanses of luminous, harmonious color, the work emphasizes the emotional and perceptual effects of color over representational forms. The painting’s minimalist composition invites viewers to immerse themselves in its vibrant hues and subtle tonal variations, creating an immersive sensory experience. This series exemplifies how Color field painting explores the contemplative power of color, stripping away figurative detail to focus on pure visual impact.
