Fish in the air

The painting titled "Fish in the Air" creatively depicts the evolutionary journey of fishes, highlighting their development from the Cambrian to the Cenozoic eras, notably during the Devonian, known as the "age of fishes" for its significant biological changes. Rendered in a style reminiscent of Naïve art (primitivism), the artwork combines elements of genre painting with playful imagery, illustrating fishes floating effortlessly in an impossible sky. This surreal presentation invites viewers to reflect on both natural history and artistic imagination, blending science and creativity seamlessly.
