Abstract Composition

"Abstract Composition" by Gabriele Münter exemplifies her innovative approach to Abstract art. As a prominent German expressionist, Münter’s work often explores emotional depth through bold colors and dynamic forms. Her association with Wassily Kandinsky and her role in the Der Blaue Reiter group influenced her tendency toward abstract compositions that break traditional representational boundaries. The painting’s vibrant shapes and layered textures convey expressive energy and spontaneity, capturing the essence of early 20th-century avant-garde experimentation.
