Thersites (Chastened)

"Thersites (Chastened)" is a powerful painting that combines elements of Color field painting with Abstract art, emphasizing bold, expansive areas of color that evoke emotional depth. The composition's vivid hues and layered textures create a sense of tension and introspection, reflecting the tumultuous character of Thersites from Greek mythology. The work moves away from realistic depiction, instead focusing on expressive color and form to convey the subject's inner conflict and humility. This piece exemplifies a meditative approach, inviting viewers to explore both the physical and psychological landscapes within the painting.
