Blessed Fisherman Family and Golden Fish

The painting titled "Blessed Fisherman Family and Golden Fish" exemplifies a Symbolic painting that blends elements of Naïve art (primitivism) with rich allegorical meaning. It depicts a humble fisherman family alongside a shimmering golden fish, symbolizing prosperity, gratitude, and spiritual blessing. The scene's simplicity and vibrant colors evoke a sense of innocence and directness characteristic of Naïve art. This work draws inspiration from biblical and folkloric stories, notably the Sicilian fairy tale "Li Figghi di lu Cavuliciddaru," emphasizing themes of family, generosity, and divine favor through a charming, almost primitive, aesthetic.
