White Dream

"White Dream," created by Jorge Martins in 1997, exemplifies his mastery within a contemporary still life genre. Martins, renowned for blending vibrant Pop art influences with refined technical skill, employs bold colors and smooth techniques to evoke a sense of serenity and purity suggested by the title. The work's clean, luminous palette emphasizes the concept of a white vision or ideal, inviting viewers to contemplate abstraction and perception. As an exemplar of his style, "White Dream" reflects Martins’ fascination with modern symbolism and his ability to merge popular culture with refined artistic expression.
