"Composition" by Otto Freundlich is a compelling example of his pioneering Abstract art. As one of the first generation of Abstract artists, Freundlich explored vibrant, dynamic forms that moved beyond representational imagery. His work reflects a deep admiration for Cubism and embodies a spiritual quest through geometric shapes and luminous colors. Tragically, Freundlich was murdered at the Majdanek concentration camp during the Holocaust, but his contributions remain influential in the development of Abstract art movements.
