Family Portrait

"Family Portrait" by Alfred Julio Jensen exemplifies his distinctive style within Abstract art, combining vibrant, thickly impasted geometrical shapes like triangles and circles arranged in precise grids. As an influential Abstract expressionism artist, Jensen's work often conveys a web of ideas, incorporating elements of calligraphy or numerical systems that add layered meaning. His technique emphasizes the tactile quality of paint, and his compositions reflect a focus on structure and color harmony. This piece, like much of Jensen's oeuvre, embodies the spirit of "concrete" abstract art, engaging viewers with its complex visual language.
