Intervalos no Tempo I

"Intervalos no Tempo I" by Gil Teixeira Lopes exemplifies a compelling fusion of abstract and Art informel styles. Created around 2023, the artwork reflects Lopes’ mastery of expressive, gestural techniques characteristic of Art informel, emphasizing spontaneous, dynamic mark-making. The title suggests a meditation on the intervals in time, which the piece visually explores through layered textures and overlapping forms. Lopes’ style captures the fluidity and impermanence of moments, highlighting the emotional resonance embedded in abstract compositions.
