View of Lausanne

The painting titled "View of Lausanne" captures a vibrant cityscape rendered with bold, expressive brushwork on canvas. Influenced by Post-impressionism, it showcases vivid colors and a dynamic composition that evoke both emotion and structure. The use of Oil paints enhances the textural richness and depth, creating a lively depiction of Lausanne’s architecture and landscape. While the style aligns with the radical tendencies of early 20th-century avant-garde groups like Donkey's Tail, it embodies a synthesis of innovative artistic approaches that challenge traditional perspectives and celebrate experimental techniques.
