Portrait of artist's family

The "Portrait of Artist's Family" by Filipp Andreevich Malyavin is a compelling portrait capturing his loved ones with vivid expressiveness. Painted on canvas using oil paints, the artwork reflects Malyavin's background rooted in peasant life, which often influenced his thematic choices. While his style shows hints of Art nouveau (modern) aesthetics, his bold brushwork and lively composition highlight his realist training under Ilya Repin. The portrait offers an intimate glimpse into his family, emphasizing authentic connection and cultural identity.
