Untitled

Marcel Janco’s Untitled, created in 1957, exemplifies his versatility as a pioneering figure in Cubism and modernist art. A Romanian-born artist, Janco employed Silkscreen technique to produce bold, graphic compositions that explore form and abstraction. The title Untitled emphasizes the work’s focus on pure visual language rather than narrative, inviting viewers to interpret the composition freely. Incorporating themes associated with the Marina, the piece embodies a sense of openness and fluidity characteristic of his experimental approach during this period.
