Untitled

John Vassos, an influential American designer and illustrator active in the early 20th century, created "Untitled" in 1935 during the height of the Art deco movement. Known for his precise and sleek aesthetic, Vassos’s work exemplifies the streamlined forms and geometric elegance characteristic of the era. This piece reflects his expertise in illustration, employing clean lines and structured composition to evoke a sense of modernity and sophistication. The absence of a specific title invites viewers to engage directly with the artwork’s formal qualities, emphasizing design over narrative in a quintessentially Art deco context.
