Noli Me Tangere is a compelling religious painting created by Andrea del Sarto around 1510 during the High renaissance period. Executed in Oil on wood, it depicts the moment shortly after the resurrection, featuring Jesus and Mary Magdalene. This work was the artist’s first commission for the Augustinian San Gallo church in Florence, as documented by Anonimo Magliabechiano and Vasari. Andrea del Sarto later produced other notable works for the same church, and today, this piece is housed at the Uffizi Gallery.
