Back to Home

"Back to Home" is a captivating landscape painting by Polish artist Jacek Yerka, embodying his signature Surrealism style. The artwork transports viewers into a dreamlike scene that blurs reality and imagination, reflecting Yerka’s meticulous detail and fantastical vision. Part of the Mind Fields collection, which pairs Yerka’s evocative paintings with short stories by Harlan Ellison, this piece inspired Ellison to craft a prose poem that explores themes of memory and homecoming. The painting’s surreal elements invite viewers to explore the boundary between the familiar and the uncanny, embodying the essence of Surrealism.
