Before the Wedding

"Before the Wedding" by Konstantin Yegorovich Makovsky is a captivating genre painting that depicts a tender, intimate moment before a traditional Russian wedding. Painted on canvas using oil paints, the work reflects Makovsky's interest in romanticized scenes that celebrate Russian life of previous centuries.
