"Judith and Holofernes" is a religious painting from around 1577, created in Oil on canvas by the studio of Jacopo Tintoretto. Although initially thought to be an autograph work from his youth, it showcases dynamic composition characteristic of Mannerism (late renaissance). The painting depicts the biblical story of Judith beheading Holofernes with intense emotion and dramatic lighting. Once owned by the Marquis of La Ensenada, it entered the Spanish royal collection in 1760 and is now held in the Museo del Prado.
