The Finding of Moses is a religious painting by Paolo Veronese, created around 1581-1582, exemplifying Mannerism (late renaissance) style. This Oil-on-Canvas artwork measures 178 by 277 cm and is housed in the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister, Dresden. It depicts the biblical scene of Pharaoh’s daughter discovering the infant Moses. Veronese produced at least eight versions on this theme, with another in Lyon believed to be a preparatory sketch for this prominent piece. The painting showcases vivid composition and refined technique characteristic of his studio’s work.
