Guido Reni's Annunciation is a stunning Religious painting executed in Baroque style, likely completed in early 1629. Commissioned by Marie de' Medici, it marks Reni's first large work to arrive in France and is now housed as Inventory Number 521 in the Louvre Museum, displayed in Room 12 of the Grande Galerie. The painting depicts the angel Gabriel announcing to the Virgin Mary, capturing the moment with clarity and divine grace characteristic of Reni's refined Baroque style. An earlier, less detailed version from 1621 exists in Fano’s local art gallery, showcasing Reni’s evolving mastery in religious iconography.
