Paris suburbs

"Paris suburbs" captures a vibrant cityscape rendered on a canvas, showcasing the historic and evolving landscape of the outskirts of Paris. The painting employs rich oil paints, blending elements of Post-impressionism to evoke the area's deep history, from ancient Parisii settlements through Roman Lutetia to Frankish rule. The artist thoughtfully depicts both the modern suburbs and traces of their past, inviting viewers to reflect on the layered story of this once-Gallo-Roman town.
