L'Enseigne de Gersaint is an oil on canvas by French artist Jean-Antoine Watteau, completed around 1720–21 and housed at Charlottenburg Palace in Berlin. Considered the artist’s last major work, it exemplifies the Rococo style with its playful elegance and ornamental details. Originally created as a shop sign for the art dealer Edme François Gersaint, the painting also functions as a clever genre painting that captures a lively scene of merchants and customers. According to Daniel Roche, the piece served more as an advertisement for the artist than for the dealer.
