View of Riera de Sant Joan from the window

"View of Riera de Sant Joan from the window" is a compelling painting that captures a vibrant cityscape through a vantage point overlooking Riera de Sant Joan. Rendered in rich oil paints on wood, the composition demonstrates dynamic Expressionism techniques, emphasizing emotional intensity and bold brushwork. The scene's distorted perspectives evoke a sense of surrealism, reminiscent of Luis Buñuel's avant-garde style, blending political commentary with dreamlike imagery. This work offers a vivid view that intertwines realism with an introspective, almost subconscious, atmosphere.
