Lying female nude playing with cat

Pablo Picasso's 1964 artwork, Lying female nude playing with cat, exemplifies his mastery of the Nude painting (nu) tradition, blending realistic form with subtle abstraction. The depiction of a relaxed, lying female figure engaging with a cat reflects Picasso’s innovative approach during his later period, often influenced by Surrealism.
