The Mae West Lips Sofa is a surrealist sculpture designed by Salvador Dalí, resembling the lips of actress Mae West. Crafted from polyurethane foam coated with a satin-like red polidur, the piece measures approximately 110 cm × 183 cm × 81.5 cm and is intended solely as an artistic design statement rather than functional furniture. Dalí was inspired by the rocky landscapes near Cadaqués and Portlligat, where he and his wife Gala often stayed, and he emphasizes that the sofa is a wood-shaped surrealist form, emphasizing his fascination with combining everyday objects with Surrealism.
