The Polish Rider is a renowned painting from the Baroque era, created by Rembrandt in the 1650s. This compelling portrait depicts a young man on horseback traversing a shadowy, moody landscape. Executed in oil on canvas, it captures a sense of movement and mystery characteristic of the period. Although initially attributed to Rembrandt when sold to Henry Frick in 1910, who acquired it from Zdzisław Tarnowski, its authorship has since been questioned, but the majority still support its attribution to the Dutch master.
