"The Presentation of Christ in the Temple" is a Religious painting by Fra Angelico, created as a Panel fresco for the Dominican Convent of Saint Mark in Florence during the Early renaissance. This Tempera-on-panel artwork depicts the biblical event where Mary and Joseph present the infant Jesus at the Jerusalem Temple, highlighting the first-born son dedication from Luke 2:23–24. Mary witnesses as Simeon holds Jesus, with Saint Joseph carrying a basket of doves. Notably, Dominican saints Peter of Verona and Blessed Villana de' Botti are anachronistically included, emphasizing the event's spiritual significance and the Dominican devotion to the fourth Joyful Mystery of the Rosary.
