"St. Mary Magdalene" is an oil on panel painting from around 1500, attributed to Perugino. This religious painting depicts Mary Magdalene, modeled after his wife Chiara Fancelli, a common muse for his Madonnas. The work, now housed in the Galleria Palatina in Florence, has been part of the collection since 1641. It shares stylistic similarities with his Madonna and Child with St John the Baptist and St Catherine of Alexandria (Louvre), particularly a dark background characteristic of the High renaissance period.
