Girl with Hand

"Girl with Hand" is a captivating portrait that exemplifies Expressionism through its bold, emotive brushstrokes and striking composition. The artwork, reminiscent of techniques used in etching, captures a young girl with a contemplative expression, inviting viewers into her inner world. The scene evokes the tranquil yet isolated atmosphere of Hiddensee, a car-free island in the Baltic Sea near Germany’s Rügen. The piece’s raw emotional power and distinctive style reflect the artist’s exploration of human vulnerability and individuality.
