Part of a High renaissance cycle commissioned by Milanese nobleman Gerolamo Rabia, the work reflects the stylistic influence of Bramantino. It depicts a biblical scene of divine providence, showcasing Luini's mastery of composition and serene figures. Most fragments are housed in the Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan, with others in collections such as the Wallace Collection and the Louvre. The frescoes exemplify the harmony and spiritual depth characteristic of Renaissance religious art.
