UNTITLED

"UNTITLED" by Alexander "Sandy" Calder exemplifies his mastery in Abstract art, blending playful form with spontaneity. Although Calder is famed for his mobiles and static stabiles, this piece reflects his interest in embracing chance within its composition. Likely created on a canvas using oil paints, the work evokes a sense of movement and balance characteristic of Calder's sculptures. Known for resisting over-interpretation, Calder preferred his work to speak for itself, emphasizing intuitive creation over theoretical analysis.
