Jaundiced Cuckolds Handling Ochre

"Jaundiced Cuckolds Handling Ochre" is a vivid, whimsical painting that exemplifies the playful spirit of Abstract art. Its surprising composition features distorted, jaundiced figures—cuckolds—engaged in the act of handling ochre, a yellowish pigment. The artwork's bold use of color and unconventional forms evoke a sense of humor and absurdity, reminiscent of Alphonse Allais's Album primo-avrilesque. Though rooted in traditional painting techniques, its abstract elements challenge viewers to interpret the satirical scene through a lens of Abstract aesthetics, blending humor with artistic experimentation.
