Tiepolo

"Tiepolo" by Ben Vollers (2002, Amsterdam, Netherlands) exemplifies a refined engagement with Abstract expressionism. Vollers, known for his mastery of oil on Canvas, explores the emotional intensity and dynamic forms characteristic of the genre. His work often emphasizes bold brushstrokes and vivid color palettes, creating a sense of movement and vitality. The title "Tiepolo" suggests an homage or dialogue with the Venetian master’s grand aesthetic, interpreted through an abstract lens that emphasizes expressive spontaneity over figurative representation.
