Harlequin

George Ștefănescu-Râmnic, a contemporary Romanian-German painter, created the captivating artwork titled "Harlequin." This figurative piece showcases bold colors and dynamic forms characteristic of Expressionism. Painted with acrylic on cardboard, the work emphasizes texture and immediacy. The Harlequin figure, often associated with playful yet enigmatic themes, is rendered with expressive distortions that evoke emotional depth. Râmnic’s mastery lies in blending figurative elements with a raw, visceral style, making "Harlequin" a striking example of contemporary artistic expression.
