Grey Steamboat, Sailing Ship and Three Fish with Teeth

"Grey Steamboat, Sailing Ship and Three Fish with Teeth" is an intriguing painting that blends elements of Naïve art (primitivism) with surreal imagery. The artwork depicts a marina scene where a steamboat and sailing ship coexist in a dreamlike landscape, emphasizing simplicity and childlike wonder. Unusual, menacing fish with teeth add an unsettling twist, challenging traditional perspectives. The composition’s playful yet uncanny tone showcases how the work draws from primitive artistic approaches while exploring surreal themes that invite viewers to consider the liminal space between reality and imagination.
