Casas en Alto

"Casas en Alto" by Xul Solar exemplifies his unique fusion of Expressionism and fantastical imagination. The painting depicts a vibrant Cityscape featuring whimsical, geometrically stylized houses set against a vivid, almost surreal backdrop. Solar's bold use of color and distorted perspective evoke emotional intensity and subjective experience, characteristic of Expressionism. As an innovator of imaginary languages and artistic forms, Solar’s work invites viewers into a poetic, mystical world—blurring the lines between reality and fantasy while capturing the essence of Argentine avant-garde art.
