'On White II' is an abstract art masterpiece by Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky. Painted in 1923 using oil on a canvas, Kandinsky created this piece during his tenure as a teacher at the Bauhaus in Weimar. The painting, showcasing Kandinsky's unique abstract style, initially adorned the dining room of Kandinsky's apartment at Bauhaus Dessau. Since 1976, thanks to a generous donation from Nina Kandinsky, this artwork has found a permanent home in the Musée National d'Art Moderne in Paris.
